Lost an hour of work because of memory error

I was removing an unused actor variable when GE crashed with an "Out Of Memory" dialog box. I reloaded to find everything I did was gone.

That's unfortunate...
btw: If GE crashes open the gameeditor.exe and it will ask if you want to reload it.

Something like that happened to me once except I Game-editor crashed whenever I tried to load my file. I lost a whole months work, but when I started over all of my work was redone quicker and more efficient.
That is also the reason I do this.

Well, EvanAgain had the right idea originally. He posted the .undo files, which if you load that from a windows version of gE, it will create ged files for every change that it has recorded. I was going to see if that worked through wine (I don't see why it wouldn't) but he removed them. By now though he probably has gained back his hour lost.
