"realistic" rope, demo

I've made a rope simulator, as realistic as possible (I hope)
I'm too busy to make a real game out of it, perhaps someone might have an idea.

And I'm also aware that there's also still room for improvement, since I haven't done well in making the magnet, the suction's kinda weird and...
you'll see =D
Secondly, you may notice that I have cheated... I have used almost no scripting in making the rope.
It's actually sooo easy, but, anyway...

HAVE FUN! :D

controls:
a -- left
d -- right
w -- up
s -- down
space -- suck

Wow, thats pretty cool :D . Ive been wondering if something like this was possible in GE.

ok, for making it smoother, I'd have to use smaller chains, so you don't notice the edges.
also, I've been thinking about new techniques,
I'll update this demo soon :)

Btw kall, how about make dot-by-dot rope, which connected one by one...and...you know what I mean right? :?: :idea:

there are many ways to do it, but this was the easiest one to make in such a short period of time.

so, do you mean, make the circles as small as dots to make it smoother?

3d game studio showed off with their "remarkable" 3d engine...
they made a crane demo.
it was soooo similar to what this demo is about!
:lol:

so, why not make stuff like that yourself? that's what actually inspired me to make this demo =D
