i wasnt quite sure where to place an introduction for everyone here ........ so here it is. much thanks to Makslane Rodrigues for helping me gain entrance to the forum. thanks a million. though, in the few days i've spent attempting to learn about the program, i've stumbled across some interesting ideas/projects as i was mentioning to makslane. if somehow game editor could one day create games for j2me (java enabled phones) as like a free add-on pack or something of that nature...... that would be sweet. indeed. because i have a few ideas i think could work.... seriously.

In my opinion that kind of gaming market is soon gonna be dead with almost everyone buying a smartphone in the next 5 years. Developing GE to make these kind of games would be a waste of the developers time!

really ?

i dont agree with that. i think the market would survive. and progress. cmon now ..... if ever there was a better
reason to enrich that market, with many people having ideas to build new game ideas, the best time to expand on that
could be now.... unless most people are seemingly hard-assed about how games should be made....

I released a game for j2me through Clickgamer called 'All Shook-up', It was an anagram game. We found that withing days of the release the game had been pirated and was available all over the Internet, we sold 4 copies. The problem with j2me games is that they are far too easy to copy and share. Imho from a commercial point of view its a platform best forgotten.
