BossDestroyHard is a side-scrolling shooter ala 1989. It has huge bosses and is very hard.

I hope you will check it out. The script is sloppy and the sound doesn't transition well, but you might get
some ideas from the bosses. It has music and an ending.

I left some of the variable counters on for debugging. Also, if you press "i" during gameplay, you will be invincible. Its still kinda hard even after that lol.

Here it is:

This was my first GE game. I was experimenting with different way to do things. Some things worked....others not so well. But it did show me that GE can do exactly what i want it to.

Have a good one!

Thats great! I always enjoyed games like R-Type. This evokes that feeling.

I have exported the windows version and works fine.
Make sure you have the last version of Game Editor installed in your machine.

Game Editor 1.3.9 crashes the second it click the export button (in Vista).

On XP, it exports but doesn't play right. The mbheart actor comes back to life for no reason after killing him, and then the game crashes.

You got me. I just made it all up. I put hours and hours of work into a game, but I just don't want anyone to play it so I made up this crashing thing.

This is getting wierder. I had a copy of GE 1.3.7 installed on the laptop....it exported the file ok too. So the next question is: What files does Ge access when exporting? Does it only use its own bin files, or does it use windows files in the compiling process? And even so, why do I have this problem accross multiple OS's?

Side note: Everything else on this pc works FINE. FINE! I can run Multi Theft Auto, make a building, and drive it 1000 mph with no slowdown...

We'll see.
