makslane, could you make a way to move topics to other forum pages?

Or maybe assign some moderators to keep an eye on the boards. However it should probably be someone whom you trust and have known for a long time. Just to keep threads under the right topics and stuff like that. Then you can also spend less time having to do tasks like that.

I'd even vaulunteer for moderator, but I don't think makslane can trust me enough...
he hardly knows me...

whoever he chose would have to be online a lot to help any.

Let's start a "why are you the best moderator" topic? Everybody can promote themself and spread their xmas mood.

I'm the best because:
-I know for what G.E. stands for
-I've got a internet connection on 24 hours a day
-I'm active when I don't sleep
-I'm quite proud of my mouse cursor aiming skills

actually, recently he has not been online very long at one time. besides, we don't even know if makslane will do anything like this. we need to ask him first.

I agree. We haven't had any big problems which would require a moderator. It's quite rare someone posts in wrong topic and I think we have any spamming here. Only occasionally but they are not causing problems like in many other forums.
I feel that some ones here just want to have the moderator power.
Believe me it's not so special. I'm admin in my own forum (a flight archive for a space simulator) and I've used moderator tools only about five times in other than spam removing since summer 2006.

and I remember having troublemakers around here only once since I've joined. I guess that the GE forums aren't a very popular place for spammers or troublemakers. However, If GE get's popular enough to attract a lot of people, then there may be problems. I wonder what happened on the day when the largest number of people were online.
