Well, I don't know if I got your question right, but if u ask how to make a screenshot:

During your game, press ALT+Print.
Then paste your screenie in Paint or something and save that as a picture.

:D

Thanx Kalladdolf, but I mean to give the player an option to save, automatically, whatever is showing on the screen at any given moment during the game as an image (.bmp preferably) without having to use Alt+Print to copy and paste the image to save it on a paint program.

I just think it would be easier for the users to do that by quickly pressing a button while they are playing, as many times as the feel like it than having to interrupt the game to save the image every time.

Another thing that might be important, the game is targeted for the Pocket PC environment.

Get Wondershare DemoCreator, Democreator creates software tutorial and presentation by recording screen, but more than a screen recorder, you can record all the actions taking on the application and then add some tips or instructions to it, even more, you can easily add the narration from microphone or import audio file directly. At last, you can publish it to Flash, auto-run CD, EXE, e-mail, ftp, LMS. As you know, flash file has smaller size and is safer for transmission, i think it will be useful for you!
Good luck!
Cheers!

You can try it for free to see if it works for what you need it for.

Some drawing programs have their own screen capture function, which in general is better than using printscreen because you can set a more convenient key. Another option is to set your game up with a pause function, and modify it so it doesn't show a paused screen. Then you can pause it to check the screenshot, and if you like it, you can use printscreen to capture it. If you want the user to be able to take a screenshot in-game, without some external program, you may be able to get some solution using draw_from and a canvas, but it wouldn't be easy. Also you could store data about existing actors, store it in an array, and use that info to regenerate the scene.

i think he means an in game screen capture no out of game-editor stuff (if im understanding right).
I almost postivtive this wont work but could u make a canvas actor and when u hit the key in game or whatever create actor or whatever is on screen(might require the filled region actor) and create the actor exactly where there x,y corrdinates show up on the canvas actor. COnfusing right :D
