Okay, so we have just finished the first tournament of this year. To describe it, it was a face-off between tzoli and monsterbrain. The victor at the end of the tournament was monsterbrain, despite both submitting great games. This will be the seventh monthly tournament conducted, and hopefully fifth that has a contestant, and more hopefully, the third that has an award ceremony. To be able to have an award ceremony, there must be four people entering the tournament at least.

This month's theme is anti-worlds, brought up by the idea of HBlade, with a few tweaks here and there. The theme is truly hit or miss, you either get it or you don't get it. Examples are, dark and light, fire and water, ice and lava, snow and lava. The more distinct, yet true to antis, the more originality points you will get. I honestly, will try to enter this tournament with a lava and ice game.

And now for the grading rubric-

Theme- x/10- how well does it follow the theme of this tournament? If the theme total is less than an average of five points, you are disqualified.
Originality- x/10- Is this a new game, or is the same one that we always play and see?
Creativity- x/10- Do they use the elements in this game to enhance game-play?
Title- x/10- If you saw the title of this game, would it make you want to read the back?
sound- x/5- Do they fit in with the graphics, story, and overall, sound good?
music- x/5- Do they fit in with theme, story, action, and overall, make the tempo of the game?
graphics- x/10- Do they appeal to you, do they fit in with the theme, are they a good fit to the story?
game-play- x/10- Is this something with replay value, is it addicting, is it something that is was worth playing?
overall- x/20- How do you feel about this game as a whole?
Judge Total- x/90- The judge grading this must add up the above total to get one grand Judge Total.
Judge Bonus- x/10- rotating and physics

Master Judge Rubric:

Master Total- x/90j- j=number of judges- Master Judge adds up all of Judges' score to get one grand master total.
Master Bonus- x/10j- j=number of judges- Master Judge adds up all of Judges' score to get one grand master bonus total.

No Bonus this year.

Deadline as of now is the 21st, judge week is 22nd-28th and if we have one, an award ceremony is 29th-30th

Okay that is awesome.
I hope I can finish a game for once by the deadline

The only problem with my game is the only multiplayer mode(One computer)...I couldn't programate an AI for it for sure...

i would really like to enter this competition and if i can i might have a theme that is based on

ENERGIES AND MECHANIC

At the end, it is up to the judges to decide if the game follows the theme.

My game may late a little bit because of technical difficulties.
I wanted to finish today but there are some errors in it...

Well, tomorrow is the last day to turn it in. If you do, unless there is any surprise contestants, you will win automatically because I lost my motivation to make games, and you are the only other one I know that is entering possibly. I will still grade it though, just because. Also, next tournament is the same as the last April tournament to celebrate the year anniversary of this tournament. I won't tell, but if you are able to remember, or you search, you will find it.
