Hi there, everyone! I've been working on a project or two for a few years now, but I could never find an editor that I really liked, until a friend turned me onto GE. I love it; I think it's definitely the tool I've been looking for!!
I'm relatively new to programming, but I'm catching on quickly. This community seems to extremely friendly and helpful, so I know I will benefit from your experience and advice.

It's a metroid-vania style game, but it will have a more open-worldy feel to it. The game centers around a girl named Lilike who is brought out of a coma thanks to a serum invented by her father; the true effect of the serum, however, is to make the mind aware of it's subconscious functions. She will have to consciously act as the Ego and keep balance between the personifications of her Id and Superego.

Welcome! I'm fairly new to gE, and I have found it a very nice program, and an amazing community. So hopefully your game projects go smoothly, and the game idea you have sounds interesting, I would love to see it developed.

This is a great program to use and the people are really helpfully. Put it this way last year at this time I found our about GE and did not know anything about it. Today I am starting my second game and my fist one was approved by apple last week. That just shows you how great GE is. don't be scared to ask stupid question because I always do and that is how you get things working.
