Raster SOURCE CODE

Hello! This is a part of a batch release of source code which I have develloped overtime. None of these games are actually finished but they all show good functionality and can certainly be used as examples to look at the construct of a game made in GE.

Here is the source code for one of my unreleased games called Raster (Exploration Platformer)! You start with no moves at all, you can't even jump! But you can gain all your power-ups by collecting them (yes, jump is a power up, lol)

Features:
- Item collection
- Varied moves
- Exploration intended
- An early dialogue engine, (don't use this one, I made better stuff since)
- An early camera system, (don't use this one, use Retroman's instead)
- etc.

lol, You'll get there Jimmy, one day, like I have. I might export the game to an exe later, but not now since I'm going to bed (It's Midnight and I need to wake up at 6AM) ttyl all! And thank you!

That's pretty sweet, very metroid.

I especially like the jump powerup, i don't think i've ever seen a game that did that. The double jump made it even better (Revenge Of Shinobi addict speaking).

Also, the graphics are perfectly used. That's a lot of depth for only two layers of parallax.

the batch releases remind me of the orange box, lol. (Contains no oranges)
