If you open some of the demos and go to actor control and drop down the list of names of actors in that demo, some actors have a + before their name. What does that mean?

Never mind, I answered my question: it means there are clones.

That means that the actor is a clone (actually, it's a group of clones). If you click on the plus sign, you can choose different clones of that actor.
