Graphics are subject to change. I'd like to see how well these controls fit for others.
A: move left
D: move right
S: Duck
W: Jump, press W again while in air to fly.
Q: Dash left
E: Dash right
Left click: Shoot.
Screenshot:
Again, the graphics might be upgraded in the future. There are no sound effects or music yet.
SLOPES:
I added a cool effect where you slide down the slopes too! Enjoy
Linux and Windows EXE's only, because I don't want to provide the GED file. I'd rather people not make fun of the way I code, I'm well aware I'm quite sloppy with programming lol O:

Controls:
Very responsive, I have no input lag and they seem to be approached very well, although jetpacks could be done better, more particularly the acceleration when falling\rising.
I have not had very many issues with it, seems good so far!

Everything is working fine, except the dash-mode.
The sprite heading gets not updated, if you change the direction
with "q" or "e".

[bug??]
When you are on the ground, and dash, the rocket particle emitter stops as soon as the boosted movement from the dash ends.
However, when airborne, the particles do not stop until all of your velocity stops when you hit the ground, rather than when the velocity produced by the boost ends.
This is demonstrated in
http://ausz.tk/i/15/05/2015-05-21_19-12-42.mp4.mp4.
Also, the same amount of fuel is consumed when boosting, regardless of the time the particles are emitted, which realistically, would not happen.

nah its not a bug xD In the air you accelerate more than on ground, if you dash and not hold a key you'll see
to other post above his:
game-editor doesn't export currently to mac properly unless you have a mac already

[another bug?]
When firing shots into terrain, only 1 of every 2 fired collide with the terrain and explode, shown
here.

well yes, I was just saying that realistically the particles should stop being emitted at a constant time after the boost is done, not continually until the player loses all momentum.
Using your approach, the fuel would be consumed at a varying rate until the player's jetpack stops, and the player would never lose their momentum all the way as the engines are still firing at a constant rate. If the engines are being used to suicide-burn the player to a halt in momentum, the amount of particles emitted as well as the fuel intake should be reflected accordingly.

If you added in another button or double tap while your in the air to instantly burn all of your fuel and shoot upward, that would feel really satisfying
o----o
(it would also be ridiculous and probably not fit the games theme)
Haha, It's great so far, the controls feel really solid
Now we just need little cardboard cutouts to pop out of the ground and walls to test the shooting, hahaha

Slope makes it somewhat hard to walk uphill, but other than than, this is 10/10.
Good controls, good response, our little hero can fly, that's great. And graphics are not bad at all, in my opinion. I like how this game looks.
