Holy Lord! if the game play clones the original with these graphics it will put sonic4 on its knees! it looks so true to the original sprites, thanks to the well dedicated re-edit. if what i read is true- the 3ds max modeled sprites have been rendered very convincingly 2d! but one must ask: can such a hi resolution game like this be ported to any handheld- i mean it looks dedicated for pc play (i thought g.e can't down scale its graphics to lower resolutions, without having the sprites customised to that resolution- its a concept i ponder over as i would want to make a game that had best res with max portability but if i had to sacrifice i would just keep it on pc) I be drooling now

I work on a sonic hd (1920x1080) with game editor

Looks AMAZING, but i have one question.
Is 1920x1080 usable on all pc's? im not sure if my graphics card can handle something like that...
Playing this game would be truly amazing so im just concerned for all those people out there with graphics cards like mine that are only capable of like 1320x1268 screen resolution.
Of course you could always just make like 2 versions with one being original screen resolution and one scaled down a bit <- im thinking that downsizing will require a lot of graphics retoning and i could look a lot less AWESOME, but its your choice

screen resolution is limited by how much pixel there is on the screen on an LCD screen or by the Horizontal and Vertical specific refresh rate limit on cathodic tube monitor.
But it's also possible on some graphics card to have a bigger resolution and needing to scroll the screen with the mouse to see more, but you can't see your whole screen at once.

And not many screen will handle it, it's more than HD btw, because HD is 1024x768 HDMI is higher so maybe SuperHD is the term?
My screen max resolution is 1680x1050 ):
My max graphic card resolution is 2048x1536 though
The few that will be able to play this game will probably like it, alot :P

Why 1920x1080? It's just that that game looks so awesome, but I can't get the chance to play it(1366x768 screen res :()...

Thx all
I have made some test on budget graphic card, the game run fine in 1280x720
I'll probably choose this screen resolution :)
