reflections demo

This is a demo only - to give some of you some ideas on enhancing the graphical look of your game..

could be used for example on water/ice surfaces as well.

I tried this out for a game I was building (then gave up on)...so I just thought you guys may want to use the idea..

All it shows, is how effective it is, to turn your sprites upside down and make them semi transparent.... to give a "reflective" surface

sorry about the player actor, his sprite is in a lower resolution then the rest of the demo, but the only sprite I had handy..

The demo does NOT do anything ( except look pretty :lol: ) and has no code.
the demo simply has the player actor running across the screen in a continuous loop, to demonstrate the "effect"

someone has suggested I upload the code for this... see attached..

the code is rough and really doesn't show or do anything,

but, all it does show is that I have created two actors for every one, and flipped animations for the "mirror" set..
