Star Colony - a mini RTS

This mini RTS contains only 3 levels, but I hope, it provides ideas for better RTS games in GE.
It requires GE 1.4.1beta.
The control is easy: you can select and deselect the units by left mouse button and deselect all selected units by right mouse button. The selected units will move to the place that you select by left mouse button.
The group selecting is unfinished yet, it is not works correctly by a rectangle.
You can scroll the screen by the arrow keys and you can use <Esc> button to exit the game.
I hope, I didn't make too many bugs in the game
That's all. Enjoy!

That's a really nice demo.
The basics of an RTS game are covered in it very well. I might want to use it as a starting point if I ever get myself to make a strategy game :D
Some minor problems I had with it (mostly graphical so they don't matter):

- Having the action and the select on the same button results in pretty interesting control. I might be conservative but the standard RTS controls should do fine here (Left Mouse Buton being the select and Right Mouse Button being the action)
- Some problems with the selection after a unit is created.
- Interface goes behind the units
- Text is sometimes barely readable.
- Sometimes the healthbar thing remains behind after a unit is killed.

The things I found very well done on top of the basic mechanics:

- Movement and animations are mostly fluid
- Auto-Attack is a nice touch.

I see that some of the graphics are from StarCraft and Dune. The other game I don't recognize.

Hello TZoli!

Maybe I was in a hurry, therefore I couldn't test the game soundly and I'm not an experienced GE user. So unfortunately some bugs are remain in the game.
But I hope my game can be useful for other GE game developers.
The sounds and graphics mainly from Dark Colony, and yes, the other parts from StarCraft and Dune 2000.
And an interesting thing: when I saved the game in other name, the size of it decreased considerably (from more than 10 MB to 2-3 MB). I don't know what happened, but at least I could upload it to the forum :D .
