Hi, I want to some day sell my games from GE, but sadly I don't have 1500 dollars a year. I feel as if only the people between medium and rich can only afford it.

True, it does seem like a lot. But you have to remember that it lasts a whole year. If you're actually planning to sell games, chances are they're going to be good enough that people will buy them. (If they're not, it's not really worth selling them). If people are buying your games, then you're going to be making money from them. And if out of that, you haven't at least made $1500 in a whole year, then not enough people are buying them, meaning they're probably not good enough to be selling.
In short, if you're making games that are actually worth selling, then $1,500 a year should be no problem. And if not, then there's no point selling them, and you can just use the free version.

don't you also have to pay to get be a developer for apple too? also I think I read there was another license you had to buy if you use 1.4... Maybe if you sold your game through the ge sponsored method you don't need a full license? that would be cool.
