Roundabout

So, this is a game that has been in-dev for about 3-4 months. I worked hard on it along with Wertyboy for a month or so (Wertyboy made the UI), but I somehow lost interest and well this is how the game is going to be for some time. Maybe gE 1.5 might come out before I complete the game and release it to GameJolt or something. I've been meaning to share it to the forums when it's done but since I doubt it will be done any time soon I'll show what Wertyboy and I have done so far.

What I still need to add but am too lazy to:
  • Title Screen
  • Tutorial
  • Backgrounds
  • Another boss

Controls & Stuff:
  • Mouse to move
  • Maintain higher style points for a better final score by destroying viruses (The white objects heading to the center of the screen), if possible, destroy them near the red circle for more style points.
  • Don't hit black viruses or stun bullets (Yellow particles)
  • Don't let viruses pass the red circle or else you will inevitably lose health.
  • Each 5 levels a boss will spawn, do defeat the boss, touch the boss with your antivirus (Cursor). Be careful though, bosses will sometimes turn black / yellow and shoot black viruses or stun bullets which you will have to avoid.
  • UI Stuff:
    Image
  • You have 3 Continues, so you can die thrice.
  • Press Enter to go through dialog
  • If you hear random sounds that's when you get a Style: 10.00 chain and heal.

Oh yeah I still have the debug UI on there and I forgot to remove it! Oh well.
Feedback is appreciated. :)

Looks interesting, Jonathang. How much more programming would the game require to be completed? A solid week, month, year?

A little bit more, but I've been lazy working on it lately. If I'm still as dedicated as I was it might just take a week, but I somehow lost interest.

Thanks Schnell! :D

Haha yeah it is a bit similar, but tbh I had this idea waaay before Undertale was out.

Welp I think I'm gonna work on this again since I didn't really think anyone was going to care about my game and there are people who actually tried it! Thanks for the inspiration guys! :)

Sounds good.

Is the PC Game Editor able to export for all systems, PC, Mac and Linux? Last I remember hearing, was just for PC and Linux. I don't have access to the PC version at this time.

Cool. That is great. It would be cool to see a version for PC, Mac and Linux for complete Game Editor Games so we can all try it out. 8)

Hey, thanks! Truly appreciate that someone actually played this! Might make a Unity version of this game after graduating college. Thanks again! :D
