I say we start a fund to get Makslane a Macintosh computer with OSX installed on it. That seems to be the most direct way to getting the Mac version of GE finished.

Any takers?

So Mac OSX is going to be supported? Fantastic!
I was originally looking for a game editor to output OSX files but found this instead and decided to use this since I also have a PPC and WinXP machine.

I am very glad to learn that GE will actually support the Mac. I've been tempted by the Mac platform for a long time. Now that Mac is intell based and offers XP support (sort of), I am even more serious about owning one. If GE is made available for the Mac, I might make the jump.

My biggest problem is that I have really been spoiled by the pen input that I have on my tablet pc and, as yet, Mac doesn't have a tablet platform. I would sure love to see support for the tablet functions within GE too, but then I'd like to see support for every platform within GE (I don't ask for much do I?)

BTW: I'd be willing to donate a little to a cause that would help Makslane get a Mac or whatever he needs to make GE more portable across platforms. ie more selection of compilers for users (Mac, Linux, Windows,Symbian, Palm...) :D

MacOS X has great tablet support. Wacom tablets work great on Mac. Even cheap Genius Wizardpen works without any drivers.

J4F means a tablet PC, not a computer with a tablet attached. Its a type of laptop that has a touch sensative screen.
