Am working through this demo and am having trouble with the Score. I have an Ascii Table that's a gif file that is loaded but it doesn't seem to work right. Any hints? If you did it, could you tell me step by step how you added the Score actor correctly?

EDIT:

I think am OK. I opened the numbers.png file in an image editor and saved it as a gif, then Game Editor recognized it as a file when I went to load new font. Not sure why it wouldn't recognize the numbers.png file though. It's in the tutorial to load it--but could only load it as a gif.

If anyone has any advice about images to load as a font for a score, I'd appreciate it.

Well one thing you can do is search for MONOSPACE fonts on google.

When u find some, install them, then open ur graphics editor.

create a new image and type
1234567890 with ur MONOSPACE font.

then you can add any fx you want, and use the resulting image in ge.

Unfortunately, there aren't many good monospace fonts.

Of course, if you want the standard digital "7 light led" font, just download a copy from anywhere. Its a very public domain thing (if not, GE (that is, General Electric) would sue everyone who used it, because they were the first one to use it in alarm clock radios, if i'm not mistaken).

monospace is the key word here. Heck, make ur own font!

Thanks, but I solved this. You just add your own fonts from your computer. I used to think this was something complicated but it's very simple. : )
