Mac Export Bug Or Unsuport to The Latest Mac?

I myself do not own a Mac, but while I was away I left my computer behind and I wanted to show a friend one of the games I had made.
I had exported my game to mac,
but when we tried to play it would not work and my friend believed it was because game editor
only exported to some older version of mac and that he would have to download a whole extra framework thing to make it work.
it appears to me that the majority of mac users seem quite content with game editor's functionality and no one seems to be complaining
why?
Has any mac user has had this problem before?

I suppose that no one has this problem. it must have been an isolated incident.
You know you don't get a lot of activity on these new forums don't you agree?

A similar problem was reported a while back, as you can see in the other posts in this forum. It should be fixed by using the new bin file. If it is still happening it would help to report the error that happens when you run the game (it has to be run via the terminal to see the error).

It's not because of the forum. It's because people didn't have anything to add to this.

In the directory where your gE executable is, there is another directory called bin. Inside it are the gE engines used to create the exports. The problem you are reporting sounds similar to an older problem which was fixed by a newer mac bin file. If it is the same problem, downloading a fresh copy of gE and exporting from that should fix it.
