Hi, I just got a new pocket pc as a gift from my parents. It is an HP iPAQ hx2495 Pocket PC - Intel PXA270 520MHz. Its a sick little thing and runs Windows Mobile 5.0 (Premium Edition) for the operating system. I was just looking at this tutorial I found in the forum (http://www.trajectorylabs.com/pocket_pc ... ation.html). It has an Intel PXA270 520MHz processor.

I bought game-editor to make games for my computer but now that I have this, I would like to make games for both. Does anyone have a link to a game made specifically for a pocket pc so I can see how the stylus clicks and such are handeled?

If you can tell me if the games made in game-editor work on my new pocket pc and if the tutorial is the correct steps to get the game installed i would really appreciate it. Thank you

The games will execute in your device, just export to 240x320 resolution.

You can test the 1945 demo:

makslane, I downloaded the game you posted and exported it for the pocket pc and I got an EXE. I cant get it to play on my PPC though. Do i need to make a CAB file or is there a way to just drag and drop the exe? I tried to follow the instructions from the website I listed but I couldnt even get the exe's it said were free from Microsoft. Can I use anything that makes a CAB file?

If anyone can walk me through how they create games for the pocket PC i would really appreciate it, thank you.

Connect your device to your desktop and use the Explorer to copy the file.

makslane, ok, i did that and copied it over. it took me a few minutes to even locate the file. It was not very convinient, where it was located.

If you sync your device with activesync and use explorer you can put the exe file where you want too.

A better way to transfer files is to get a multi memory card reader for your computer and just transfer the files to your SD memory card and then pop the memory card in your device.

Card readers are dirt cheap now.

Or if your device has bluetooth, get a bluetooth dongle for your desktop pc and transfer it that way.
