LexCondrans RPG Thing Version !5.0! New save/load machine

Yo it's been awhile and yeah ive been lazy i guess
So i thought of diggin up my old rpg game and continuing its work by shortening and making easier scripts
still a bunch of bugs and stopped ideas in it, like the white key cant be made, or some weird stuff that is just awkward but
the new G-E is very interesting with the tons of new people that popped up
lol i lost pretty much all my work i ever did except for my rpg that was i think in version 3 or something XD
so it will be up eventually a little more remolded as i mess with some of my graphics i made
its just that the file is huge cause of the sounds, images, scripts, and game information thats all there :D
One problem i remebered was with the lv 2 spells curse/boost of earth and air elements. :?
dont think i ever got them working but every other spell is still awesome
most of the scripts are really long since i hadnt known how to shorten anything.
/One thing that needs fixed as well is that enemies regenrate and it can get hard, its best for bosses only usually

i plan on releasing new versions every so often just for fun
and to help people better understand my crazy scripts
just a basic rpg so people can learn how to do stuff for their own awesome ones

I looked at this awhile back still have the file on my comp actually, it's a pretty big game script wise i've only slightly looked through some of the scripts.

but i have an rpg that i've put a good amount of code in although i haven't messed with it in awhile..

it would be cool to see what you do with this project though :D

Yay the editable file woot :D
i added in 9 new charater choices
i also messed with a bunch of scripts and fixed some issues
only bosses will regenerate now reducing the difficulty
boost and curse still dont work so i need to fix that :cry:
i plan on adding more descriptions into my scripts to better explain them for newbies
really had a plan to make it a 2d scroller thing and find some way to make some quest like things
---Controls----
Dpad to move around
Spacebar during combat for Melee, or Ranged attacks
Choose spell with MA bar and then press c,v,b,n,m to cast the spell
Z and X are for throwing knives (Need 15 agility to use) and ninja stars (Need 5 agility to use)
left mouse click on ore, trees, or flowers to harvest them while touching them
Go into skills, then click craft items to make items from stuff
there are 7 areas, first area is kinda pointless and you wont gain exp until you leave it after figuring out the password to the brown wall

yay i added in a new small skill, you can now block when you press enter
it creates a small shield for a bit, Press Enter to block, It costs 2 acp,
the block skill also levels up with your agility under 5 different levels, <=9, >=10, >=20, >=30, >=40
lol its cooler than it sounds

i messed with exp gains a bit for fighting monsters by lvl*difficulty so the difficulty changes some stuff
mospd script has been rewritten to actually work right now :D

Ive added in character bonuses now, So depending on what character you are using, when you level up you get a bonus for them :D
Ive messed with a bunch of random scripts again, and fixed the message box to make texts pop out easier, :D
i also went around fixing the charvesting stuff as i found out it didnt work, max level for lumberjack, alchemy, mining is lv.10 :o
i forgot some other stuff i messed with but yeah
i plan on adding in a new menu so after a fight it shows how much Xp and $money you got for the fight, also wether or not you leveled up. 8)
I gave the characters names since naming them all after gems was boring,
mooshwai is the best last name ever lol

Ive been wanting to make this an windows Executable file but the game editor just crashes whenever i try to export it
itd be awesome if i could export into executable for without the game editor crashing on me for no reason.... :cry:

but now that version is outdated lol, i usually update the game every now and then.
//I reorganized the shops now, 1,2,3,4,5 compressed to 1 shop that changes with the places you are at [gcolar] variable
//i also fixed the bossblocks since they didnt even work, you couldnt get into forest area, now the whole game is unlocked for play

3 more things iam planning on doing is
1:Updating combatness, adding in rewards menu after fights
2:Probably going to make 2d sidescroller typeness, like most game editor games
3:Rewriting leveleing system completely, whole new level up style, 10xp to level, +1 exp per stat increase
att,hp,mp,def,spd,rdef,mdef,ratt,matt
by using them or doing something with them they go up by 1
then do that 10 times maybe and you gain a level up.
+3apx, +2dpx, +1spx
lol it sounds pretty cool

i got another type per'se
its just like version 4.5 but with a new level up system
instead of basic gain xp by killing monsters you level by doing stuff
+1 point if you level up any stat, kill a boss, or level up a harvesting skill.
5 points and you gain a level
its weird but i think its cool and new freshness
*lool i had an idea to add in lacotemale character just for laughs. (Bonus is +1hp, mp per level up)

you can gain stats while fighting, its awesome
the 2dpx sort of makes character bonus's mean more now that you get less to customize with
i dont know but its so cool =P
like morrowind, oblivion type leveling

The aggro thing is pretty interesting
Monsters have a base aggro 1-7,
aggro hits 8 and they unleash 1 magic,melee,ranged attack with a roar
melee hits do 2 aggro, magic/ranged/ranged weapons do 1 aggro
Also messed with the pldam, endam show-er texts so they work a bit better
added block to make people read the sign that explains stuff before they can leave the start spot.
made stat leveling a bit easier and fluider, gain levels slightly faster but still hard enough to slow fast leveling :D
just a bunch of minor changes will keep being added in.
It would be awesome again if i could get the exported version for this new version
*also added in a locatemale character choice lol, +1dpx/hp/att per level
so thats 24 + the 2 locked characters

was wondering if anyone knew how ti craft a.i of some sort
its kind of boring with just the one path
it would be so awesome if the enemyhit actually moved around on its own attacking you, or trying to dodge your attacks
dont really know how that would work but it sounds fun

AI sounds cool but I tried it with a simple enough puzzle game but it got complicated fast. Its kinda hard IMHO!

for now iam just working on leveling for the stats to make it a bit easier to get to 75
iam also looking for as many bugs as possible
and messing around with the 3 harvesting skills
lv1-10 for each one but it takes to long andi forgot about adding in some extra stuff for it
like when you level it up enough you get 2 instead of 1 of each resource 8)
and also it lowers the hp of the resource s you level so it becomes faster
but definetly i need to work on the timers of monsters respawn and resources (resource take to log to respawn) :?
