Ghost Tower

Hey guys. I'm working on a small game for the sake of their being no recent games made with GE. I will be constantly updating it until I can call it complete.

Ghost tower is a platformer about a ghost called Intangally that was enjoying life in Ghostville, when he woke up an a dark room full of platforms and obstacles.
Intangally will meet other ghosts and creatures that will help him escape and learn more about the Ghost Tower. I was thinking about 60 levels or more. To give the player
at least an hour of gameplay. There will be powerups, enemies and the need of precise timing jumps. I will be doing some kind of clip movies, although just mostly speech bubbles and different scenes happening. I haven't got a demo just yet as I am still working on the next 20 levels. Stay tuned for more posts. :)

Looks interesting and reminds me a little of a classic game called Ghost Bubble. When you have video footage, post something on youtube if you can so I can see the game in action.

As Mr.Zivouhr pointed out, we can not say much from this point based on what we see.
Maybe if you tell us a little bit more for the game. (Genre, sub-genre, story/target, goal, content, ideas, code, idioms/signatures etc)
Because now, it looks like we are only prompted to comment some graphics and that's all.
We would like to comment a little bit more if you get what I mean ;)

Keep going knuck, because your games are fun to play.

Well since I can't play it, all I can really comment on is the graphics which I can say are noticably better than that of your previous projects, I'm interested to see what comes of this...

I do have one question though... Is this game being made on GE?

Or that would be highly illegal lolol

For the record:

I am sure imo that he is making it in gE though.

Once I have the next 20 levels done, I will release a demo video.

If you can make up to 60 levels, you can respectively make 100.
If you can make 100, you can create an "Infinite" game, that continiously generate new continuously, hazards, power-ups, decorations and enemies.
People stop playing the game once they pass through it. Unless they like it very much (as favorite).

So advanced controls. Unique controls area always Interesting to people.
I can't explain it.. it is just an entertainment somehow.

The idea is good. Since this is ghost, it is understandable if it has clip moves and ghost abilities.
Otherwise it could be interchanged with something else, that is relevant and certainly more diverse.
So it is good if you take advantage of that the main player is a ghost.

I do plan on making more levels after 60, maybe more than 100. But for infinite levels, then the story would not be complete. But it would be a great idea for another mode of the game. Would people get bored of it though, and what if a level would get generated twice. That would be quite a challenge for me.

I know. Infinite games are hard for development and usually boring. However, there are some masterized in bringing good experience in infinite environment.. they are better than the rest.

This game you're making appears to be very long... I hope you have been varying the theme to keep the player engaged...

Indeed an important factor. Every 10 levels or so I will add a few new items and hazards.

How long is an average level?
