Does anyone know if you can have inputs varying in magnitude (ie. if using a joystick, the further you move it the faster your actor moves)? I really need it, any help would be appreciated.

could you then use one of those programs to control the mouse with the joystick?

no I don't think joysticks are supported.

I was saying though, if you want analogue input, like for steering on a car game, you could use the mouse movements left/right to smoothly turn.

There is no Joystick supported, but might be added later

I dont think joysticks have been analog (variable resistance) devices in quite some time.
