Is it possible to make a open-source game with GE? I mean that it would load images, music etc from a folder structure? Thanks

You can distribute the ged and data files of the game.

But people can't open ged file without game editor.

So there is yet no way to have that kind of public open-source in ge...

To open a ged file you need the Game Editor.
