i feel this is useless, that is 2.5D.
3D is more complex then that,
what you showed there was only the Z location simulation.

To make a realistic 3D engine in GE, you should use the same method that was used in the GE fox demo, and if GE would be a 3D engine, there would not only be 2 axis in its developing.

yeah..but

yeah...I know that gogo but it's VERY convincing.
Check out some info about Pokemon Diamond and Pearl which are .:"3D":.
And this is how games simulate 3d coz you cant really make "3d" and it's all simulated(although by computer)this just involves DIY.
Take a game such as Halo or something. they are simulated.
2.5d is completely different (in true 2.5D it involves 2d objects that are animated BY HAND. This is pre-render to the max. Awsome. Easy to do if you are a good animator. Just try making a shooter wit this. Rather easy if you do the math. Use ur zoom for collisions.

yeah, but what i meant was, like if you moved the car more to the left/right, the Perspective would look not right, as if the "Camera" was rotated of somewhat, that would require a lot of frames (xRot*yRot*zRot*xPes*yPes)
its like 360*360*360*(view xSize/dimension)*(view ySize/dimension)
Or something similar, all i know is, it cames out as a lot of frames xD

zoom only

Yes, but that was DESIGNED to be zoom only.
in a 3d shooter, you would use a panarama image(wide image (spelling??))and move the view's x left and right(and to look up and down you'd use a standard definition LARGE pic and change the Y axis)

Just try it gogo
(PS i know ther's some errors wit some gfx progs (DONT do in paint or youll be drawin for 100 years )
EDIT: Wow, GEfox is better... MINE IS FASTER! HAHAHA!!!
