Ok lets get right down to it. Everyone including me wants several improvements to Game Editor. Whether its iphone port, 3D engine,or console port. The problem is Makslane has full time job and cannot upgrade Game Editor like he wants to.
We need to do something to draw more people here. I was sitting down trying to figure out why people are not flooding this website. I be the 1st one to say its partly my fault. No one who wants to make games, especially commercial games is going to buy Game Editor if that person doesnt see anything that looks like commercial quality. DST and Bee-ant have made such games already.
My part and plan is this
1) Make a decent lenght game at least 4 full levels . Plus a really good boss fight.
2) Take a popular game and use those graphics.
3) Most important , after the game is made, release it on as many websites as possible and tell people that this game was made using game editor.
Ok now this is where Iam going to need everyones help. The game that I choose is Resident evil , because of its popularity among general public.
What I need from the Game Editor elite
1) Upon the completion of my Resident Evil game I will let you know its done , I need you to spread the game to other forums and websites. If you have your own website, please include my Resident Evil game on it. I know Iam asking alot but I really want to see Game Editor improve.
2) Since this game will take a while to make, when I complete some parts of it , I will post the GED here.
What I need is the Game Editor Elite to test the GEDs as I release them and tell me your opinions. Remember when I finish this game it will be mass-released and reflect all of us. Thank you for taking the time to read this incrediblely long post and I look forward to the future!!

Sib Icon Editor makes awesome sprites. I am working on a turtle game and hope to be finished by the end of summer.

I may be able to help out, I've been working with my team on a GE game for quite some time, were developing 2 versions, one for flash and one for iphone. We'd be more than happy to hand over some screens.



As I stated last year, GE will attract the users it needs with a more professional home page!

So where are you people going to start from ?
Well as the game market turns into a franchise, all you need is big idea then look to expose you'r idea through multipliable platforms and mediums.

I Propose we start just from a story and build a world from there.. ?
