question for those who have played it. is it slugish for you guys because when i play it the background is kind of jerkey and i wasn wondering whether it was the computer or the fram rate was off or whether i had to many commands going at once or something

now that I had a closer look, it does seem jerkier then it should be ( most tilebased games will show some jerkiness, it is simply the nature of it ), but this one does seem worse then it should be..

if you could post maybe a small one level version of your game ( no need for "extra" code or "game" code, just a simple single layer..), we could have a look at it for you..

I dont exactly understand what you want. Like what do you mean by no extra code? i dont have any code in the game that isnt needed.

id kinda like to keep control of where the game is headed at this moment. so id prefer not to do that unless there is good reason to. but maybe as i get further into the game i will either release it as an open source project or recruit people to help me.

why do you ask?

sorry, what i meant is if you could post a small edited version of maybe just your first level, with just the guy walking around, we may be able figure out why your game seems to be jerky..

this way you can just post a small demo, without giving away any of your game code or ideas..
