Merry early Christmas everyone!

You made this in game editor?!!! Ive always tried cutscenes but they never seem to work. Also if i might ask how did you think of Axria, the game was awesome.

Yeah, It can be tricky, but it was easier in this case because each scene was their own individual ge file!

How did i think of it? You mean come up with it? Well if you mean AXRIA 2011, the premise and plot had been evolving for some years, i hope to revisit it once i've worked my way up. If you mean the name, well like other names I jumble up letters and realize a meaning later!

I was impressed as it was just seeing the animation. Then I read it was from GAME EDITOR. GAME EDITOR... Thats amazing! Way to go james!

As for AXRIA Retro World 2, I scheduled that for next year since i want to put a lot of time and effort into it. I decided to make the animation since its surprisingly easier to make, and more people watch than play on Christmas I suppose.

Oh yeah, JL is my middle name, I just named myself that incase people found my surname 'Beer' odd. Then again this is the same person who animated mutant chickens growing spiked blobs on a train, so I grew out of hiding identities. If only I could rename my account!

I might have said before but I've frozen that project in carbonite since the beginning of 2012, because of problems with slowdown and other such problems, and worked on AXRIA Retro World as a basic game that would be quick to finish. My plan now is to see how far I want to go with the Retro World series and then work on AXRIA once I'm ready. And by that point I'll completely revamp the graphics, so that things like the backgrounds will look nice without being distracting or blending in with the platforms!
So the Retro World titles are like practice runs that are also their own enjoyable titles, and all along the way I'll try not to make it become stale!

I just made a video where i explain this but i don't go into detail the same way I just did ;


Anyway, hope you all have a happy new year, see you all in 2013!
