Hi Jimmy, back to my question: How to save 2 characters.
Look, I have selected Asterix but Obelix is dont selected -> I dont see him.
When I save the game and Asterix is selected and when I load it, Asterix will
be loaded, but Obelix no, and when is Obelix selected and Asterix not and when
I load it, Obelix will be loaded and Asterix not -> I dont see Asterix :D
So, how to do this: How can computer know, which character was selected when I load game?? :shock:

Do U understand now? :P

Thnx,
Camper

make a variable called person or something then when you save the game, it it's
asterix person = 1;
Obelix person = 2;
save the vars then when you load the game load the vars and if person == 1 make asterix or person == 2 make obelix, i wont go into detail since you said you know loadvars and save vars right? :)

yea most people (nicluding me) always were trying to make A regions more difficult then they are....
all they do is load whutsever in them when the hit the view...
thats all...
no code at all and they are actually pretty useful

Well, i said i'd keep this alive so here:

Lot's of people ask about saveing and menus/pauseing so here you go.

p to pause or unpause
arrow keys to move
mouse to control menu

No questions? Really?
oh well, here's a way to do overhead AI the actors will move to the closest actor (a or c) if they are in the field of view.
This way you can make them move twords the player when the shoot and what-not. :)
