Hi I downloaded game-editor this morning, its awesome :P :P I like it very much, the community looks pretty friendly..Learnt a lot today:
I am working on fighting game (DBZ based), made goku , health bar, energy bar, super saiyan conversions, attacks for both modes, movement and stuff.
Something is going wrong with one of my animations:
Image
is not working properly in the game, an outline is made from the 1st frame and the rest of the animation takes place in the frame thus cutting the rest of the animation (sorry i think i did not do a great explanation of my problem :| )
Anyway Ty in advance,
Opeious.
(P.S. hope to meet and make new friends in this forum, I think i have posted in the correct section  , if not could someone move it?)

This belongs more in the Game Art section in my opinion :). Make sure that the number of frames indicated when you load the animation is correct because if it isn't, it might look like your animation is scrolling. Also, one word of advice, spritesheets are more suitable in game design than gif animations usually (unless you animated just for show then I'm sorry). That's just my opinion though!

Also, the color of the top-left most pixel in your animation will be treated as a transparent color usually. Hopefully this helps resolve your problems! Have a good one and welcome to the forums!

Just look around the forums, you can find sprite sheets and many demos that use spritesheets! Looking at examples is the best way to learn. Go take a look in the Game Demos section to find some. Good luck!
