help with displaying variable

i am stopping the animation with mouse click and then i use the function getanimindex to store the number in a variable. but i want to display this variable how do i do that?

You can display integer variable by creating text actor and writing in the draw actor->script editor:

yourtextactor.textNumber = yourvariable;

i tired that but it still doesn't display. maybe its not storing right. but is there any way to store the animation frame number.
