Technically yes, the effect there is made from javascript and html5 canvas. Ge has a canvas object too that should be somewhat similar, but I haven't really had the chance to really explore it and find out if it has transforms and whatnot similar to html5 canvas. Checked out the code to this and it's actually not that complicated and pretty straight forward.

But I should say that this was probably not programmed in javascript, the perfect formatting and the all around style lead me to believe that this was originally programmed in coffeescript and compiled into javascript.

edit: increase the max speed and you get electrons around an atom :D

I made this a long time ago. Not nearly as cool, but it still does some stuff :P
