Chocobo's Adventure! Demo 2 [Extended Gameplay]

Hey guys, Hblade here releasing the demo of my upcoming game, Chocobo's Adventure.

What you can do in the demo:
Collect Choco Coins!
Choco Screen 2.jpg

Step on the grass!

Step on the brown enemies!

Challenging Hidden Paths!

Ride the Raft!

Skyderign(or however its spelt) helped with the anti moonwalk

CONTROLES:
X - jump
Arrow keys - Move
Enter - Start, Switch to next message
0 or insert - Opens Game Menu

Please continue develloping your game! Its looking good so far. One thing, you should avoid mixing sprites of different resolutions (the chocobo sprite is at zoom x2 while everything else isn't). That's all I have to say for now. ttyl!

Lol, just kidding... Anyways this game is MUCH better now, I have enemies, and uh cutscenes :D

Well done! This is better...much better! :D

But try to add some particle effects, zou know, its little bit boring without effects.

But that game over menu is great. How do you did it? When you die in each level, it will spawn you again it that level, where
you die. :D

Thanks camper, the level spawning was... by far the EASIEST part f the game, eventhough it was still hard.

Making games is... HAAARRRDD! O.o

Anyway, when you make your teleporting canvas, make a levle variable. Say... level = 0 when at level 1. Then level = 1 at level 2... Etc. Then when you die... use either switch(level) or if statements to determan where it re-creates the character.

Heh, nice. I have one idea for enemies. Make spikes and air enemies.
So the air enemies are shooting you from the sky.

(make the air enemies on the water)

Sure. Do you like them like pixel art? Or smooth (normal) images?

In PNG right? :)

Ahh man, I guess the flying enemies can be about half the size of chocobo. Also... Uh o.o You can decide rather or not they'll be pixel art.

Ok man, here is that enemy. There are few animations. Staying, Opened and his shot.

So, make the timer, and when the timer, make animation like he is opened and then how he is shooting.
