Game A Gogo wrote:Anyhow, I just think the bunny in itself could be nice, but what would it represent of GE?

it would show how game editor is always "bouncing" forward
every day or two, something new comes out of gE
and i reckon we should have bunny's instead of the gE PAC-man

awesome idea by me, +1
and check my sig, i finally got one... then they started breeding... my hard-drive is now over run by bunnys

Chai! Great to hear from you. We would be happy to have your pic in the gallery. I was also thinking about a new splash screen for upcoming game-editors...................

.......new releases will have the following features. All products can handle 1.4 and 1.5 exports/geds:

o Android export (Is working. One annoying bug left to find). Worx on all platforms.
o Geplayer for Android with extensive ftp server....
o Game-Editor Linux with newest technologies: SDL13, ALSA sound, ESD sound, Opengl gfx accel, Box2D. (Kubuntu)
o Gemac. This is a project for making game-edtor games for mac appstore.

So maybe it also makes sense to polish the splash screen...............

Akr,
Great to hear form you.

For the splash screen of game-editor.
I am thinking about it also. I will make the design for it soon.

I have some couple new game project but both of them have the same problem
about lacking when I put 3-4 layer images as the background. [Side scrolling game]
Is it too heavy for GE?

For now I will go with the bunny first. :D
Shall we name him GeDunnies? sound like Giordano for me. :D

Maybe we could name him GE Flop. Or GE Thumper. Those are good bunnie names. And also, since he is a game editing mascot, you could make him cyborg or something haha. I dunno :P

Chai, I am sure your 4 layers look marvellous. Regarding performance.. it depends. Check it out with geplayer.
Is Android a platform you are looking at?

Dear Akr,

I am looking for the IOS platform as iPhone and iPad.

I use 3-4 levels image for background and it lack while play on the iPhone4. [While run on the PC it is really smooth. :D]
And when I add the game element such as player, enemy and item. It is really lacking. :P
However, when I test on the MAC is really smooth as same as on the PC.

p.s. Look like Activation Region is not working on iPhone device.

Floped? (flow-ped)

chai: Try making the layers' resolution smaller.
