I don't want to sound a completely idiot, but what are the activation regions? I have used game editor for two months and I had never need them.

They are regions that divide your game into managable loading chuncks, they are activated when they intersect with the view. For ex. you can put every level in a diferent activation region and when the view intersects with it it loads that region.

If the region intersect the view and the actor has the option "Receive events even if out of vision" set to Yes, the actor will receive events.

But when the view is not intersecting with region, regions actors are not receiving events?
What about the activation events?

If your have an actor A, and this actor are not in view and your activation regions not intersect the view, the actor A will be destroyed, so, don't will receive more events nor take space into memory.
