If you use alt + printscreen, it will only capture the current window. Some programs will also have a screen-capture function, which is better, because you can usually assign it to a more convenient key. Tha helps a lot, because it can be challenging to catch a good screenshot when you have to reach all the way to the printscreen key and at the same time you are dodging trees at 43.20 kilometres an hour. It is useful to have a key you can press when in the default position your game uses.

one more question... wow i asked alot of questions... how do i get it in a differnt format other than .bmp?

Just save as a different format in the program you copy to. In the 'save as' dialogue box, under the name field, there is a 'save as type' field. PNGs are good because they can have transparency, have the same quality as bitmap, but are smaller. Bitmaps are good because they are a fairly standard file type. For GE animations, I normally use bitmaps because GE has default transparency by the top-left pixel, and as Ge compresses its files in its own format, I don't think it should matter what file-type it was originally.
