Polygonic Regions/canvas?

Dear Makslane:
This is an idea, not a request!
I thought that maybe the regions that you can have in GE (the canvas, Wire-Framed Region, Filled Region & maybe the Activation region) could not only be those rectangles, but maybe you could have an option to make them circle-ellipse shaped, or triangular.
There are times in the GE developement, when you imagine you could have an invisible diagonal line where you cannot go further, I thought that this could make the games a little more "spicy".
If it is possible , you could make n-gons too. I don't think these are possible, and when it comes to being precise, and buttons, then these might come useful...

well, it would be then ideal if you could just draw them manually...

Cool! But you can concentrate on the new interface, and multiplayer at the moment :D

first ideal use would be omni directional control of enemy actors from player- to activate or deactivate within range of player in larger fields.
for canvas it can be used for sniper scope or radar. if both could be draw point to point even better for non basic shape terratorys

Hi Authors,

Why not use the PATH editing in the current version of GE. If you can set a flag to say if it is an open or a closed shape in the path, then maybe you have a ready made way of 'drawing' the shapes. :P

How is a PATH stored anyhow? How can we get script access to that array of numbers?
