Free Graphics and Stuff!

This is a collection of spritepacks and resources for you to use in your games, if not then to just use as inspiration!

====================================================================================================================================================
Here's a new pack for you!

The Pithman Pack!

Contains several characters with cutout style animations, as well as pixel art versions!

Graphics and sounds can be found here >>> http://secondbake.com/pithman-beta-project-files/
Some of my old beta executables I just posted here on the GE forums, on my old Pithman project thread >>> viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10912&p=75444#p75444

The SNES Style Knight

This little knight will be perfect for your next platformer game. I was inspired by the original "Donkey Kong Country" for the Super Nintendo when I designed him.

Included animations:
  • Walk
  • Stand
  • Jump
  • Attack

Included props:

  • Sky texture
  • An animated door

Tile Set
(64x64 tile size)
  • Stone walls
  • Brick walls
  • Dirt
  • Grass
  • Bushes
  • Columns
  • Windows
And more!

And here's the .blend file!

I plan on adding more animations and maybe some props if there is enough interest.

The Little Red Hood Pack
Little Red Hood - one of the worst games made for the NES.

Just as a disclaimer:
The main reasons I'm uploading these packs are to 1) to benefit the community with something anyone can use, and 2) to populate my website with some content (hehe) and 3) to experiment and practice.
I'm doing this in my spare time, which is something I don't always have.

I'm open to suggestions, but I can't promise I'll produce every pack suggested. If I can find the time, I'll certainly try my best - just don't ask for anything way too difficult! (I'm still learning after all) :)

These are amazing!
You seem to have learnt a lot of using blender! (That is what you use, right?)
+1 for good art and for sharing it with everyone. :)

Thanks a bunch dude! :)
And yep, the lrh pack is all blender. I did use gimp to crop the frames though, but that's about it.

Thanks Jag, they look cute  (+1)

[Edit] for some reason it doesn't allow me to reward a point. Is there a time limit before you can give another (I only gae +1 to gamemakerdude prior to this. Is this a new thing?

You can give points once every 24 hours. I think. Someone confirm this.

Great! Thanks Jag. I still haven't tried armatures in blender.
Now, one with robot-esque type would be good :)

Say thanks!

He was good practice too. :)
I'd just like to see a game made out him at some point! I'll add some props to him perhaps.

Hey no prob, and thanks!
And yeah, I know what you mean about armatures and rigging. It's a pain to learn, but once you "get it", it becomes second nature. I still think weight painting is a pain in the neck, but for little things like this knight (with individual parts) it's not so bad :)
What sort of robot are you suggesting? A Sleek Megaman-esque one, or a rusty-clunky-errrr.... steampunkish one?
