These posts inspired me to twiddle around a little..not exactly great but i like the idea of GE over a "mascot". Just hoping to maybe pass down some inspiration?

I like the second one. Here is a quick version I did in the gimp, very simple coloring though.

I got to say the ideas popping out and the drawing is way better than expected. Everytime I get ready to post I dont becuase I probaly get embarassed my art isnt good enough. I will come up with something soon , I am really impressed with the art from sky and jimmy ,didnt think they could draw so well. Alright let me get back to work!!!!

I like logos, but I have problem. The name of this tool is Game Editor, and we need one to express on how we can make traditional games new ways, so I feel that was Mak's whole point of pacman in first place. ex. WB2: Whole story is different, but it is in ways, a pokemon feeling game. Although we need an original idea

yea thats what we're aiming to do here.
there needs to be a new mascot/emblem/icon that puts the point across.
maybe it can be a redesigned pacman that removes the strange-look, or pixelated edges.
but it shouldnt be limited to just that..

game editor really isn't far behind engines such as torque game builder and game salad, and take a look at their presentation.

Now take a look at ge's presentation.
Thats why they stand out.

So maybe combine some ideas? Use sky's design, yet sneak the pacman in somewhere? Something like this...but finished unlike it, too tired for now. Maybe someone with drawing skills would like to fill in a better pacman?

That was actually why I ended up doing that as the potential logo. It was the power symbol tilted, and the point on the g was to make the pacman mouth. Of course it is kind of hard to make the pacman subtle using that design, but it will have to be as that is way to obvious/a little creepy.

it still needs alot of work.. but here a concept.

Ok I think omni-arts or skyderign can do this better but here it is. Ever letter of game editor should look like a video game charactor!! That will blow potential users minds!! Its an awesome and original idea , so someone else can pull it off better than me though here the start.
