Thanks! Any ideas for future development of this game?

Left and right gravity... but keep directional buttons as left arrow and right arrow.
moving platforms--thin so you can only jump on them from two directions--or square so you can jump on them from all directions
Gravity switches that you can shoot ( only for certain levels).
Breakable blocks(keep it so you can only shoot right and left, so you have to be at the right orientation)

I had plans for most of the things you mentioned, but I don't know about leaving the keys the same, that might be very confusing and anti-intuitive... I'll it that I pick the best option possible. I had not thought of thin plateforms, thanks for the idea! It seems you already know exactly where I'm going with this! All the things you mentioned are pretty much what I'm building right now! Good work, that's impressive!

About how long will it be until you release your next demo?

I don't know yet, I have to expand quite a bit more before posting another. I plan on posting only one other demo, then you'll have to wait until I release the final version. I plan for at least 50 levels if possible (that's my goal), and a lot of non-linearity in later levels where you can fail levels by not making the right decisions. I hope you enjoy it when its done! I'm probably gonna include a highscore list which tells you how much time you took, how many times you died, and how many easter eggs you found. Easter eggs will probably have a time reduction effect, maybe a minute per egg you found, which is significant, and maybe one easter egg per level or something like that.

I like the idea of locked blocks and the keys. What about bombs to destroy? :D I like to blow things up!

Would you consider making a pocket pc version so I could send it to my ppc testers to see how fast it runs? I have a feeling that b&w without sound would be pretty fast. But you can't use an exit button on the ppc--you need a different way to get out.

People often run their ppc's without the sound on so the lack of sound would not be a problem. I could send it to them anyway if it's OK with you. They're seasoned testers (5 of them) and their comments might be interesting. One is a retired programmer. I have about 21 testers but five of them are crackerjack and don't worry about destroying their pdas. : )

Interesting offer! Let me build it a little further before doing so though, ok?

Of course! It's up to you. I think the responses would be very interesting. They're all avid game players of all types of games. But the most important thing is to find out how fast it would run on a ppc.

And whether you could devise a way for the player to exit the game without having to do a soft reset --- check the problem with jumpbuggyracing.

I like your black and white games. I don't think the lack of color takes away from them in any way.

I just updated Mazeman with the second level I made over 6 months ago and never posted. It's possible to crash this level at one point, I just hope people don't get stuck there... lol, enjoy!

Eh, heheheheh...I see... it's not really hard
