Ok its come to my attention that some people where helped but didnt know about the point system. If someone helps you,there is a point button located on the right side. Please click that button so that the person who helped you gets a point. Thats a way of saying thankyou for helping and encourages people to help each other (smile) . I've given you a few as well over the past few months

and frankly, now it doesn't matter if I get points or not...

To get a silver copy of GE (before) at 30 points was to get commited people a chance to grow this place.

yeah i knew the extra points wouldn't do you much more good but i still gave em to you.. haha

and i'll probably end up just buying the license anyways so im not to worried about points as much

let's make a rule that you have to give a point if someone made you a demo

guys this is not what i meant when i said people dont give points very often. i was talking about how not everyone gives points and those that do wont give points to certain people. its a bias in the system. people with more points are less likely to get points then those that dont.

if you get a point for everytime you help someone or even everytime you make a demo then the license free thing would be ridiculously easy to get. putting in rules like that will make things worse we want to help for the sake of helping. not some point thing. also if you have rules to it than it has a weird sentiment. if you are helped by someone no matter how much you are supposed to give them a point in gratitude. points were something that you give someone when you are really happy about there help. they did something special. i know helping people is great but not just for points... i just feel it would degrade the gesture of helping people. commercializing kindness.

Well i just help people so they can learn how to use GE i don't care about my points.

if i get a point for helping then thats cool if not then it still won't change my mind about helping someone.

another reason i help is cause sometimes i learn things myself so either way i enjoy helping other regardless if there's a reward..
