Ok I've read around.. but I'm still slightly confused.. so looking for a few clear answers...before I go ahead and try/buy GE.
I use a PC to develop stuff.

Can I use GE to develop games for an iphone ?...
Can I do this without a Mac?

if yes.. How? :)...
and how do you export it to an iphone/ipad/ipod ? (haven't got one yet...but can borrow one :))

thanks

From what i see and understand, yes you can MAKE games for the iphone/pad/touch and export them to be played using the GE player app, but you can't compile the game for apple to sell it on the store without a mac. And i beleive you need xcode to compile the geplayer.app to put on your idevice as well. So basically yes, technically no. :)

EDIT: But then again i could be wrong/overlooking something so don't quote me for it

Hello,

I am the developer of the apple part of GE.

The standard way requires Mac. You can develop your game on pc with iphone screen resolution. Then you export a game.dat.
This will be added to a mac xcode project like geplayer or geapp.

geapp is to create a app as the name says.
geplayer is installed on iphone and will accept game.dat files per download without recompile.

If u purchase a license I will create a geplayer which can be installed from pc via itunes to your device.

Feel free to write me a private message if u have more questions.

andreas

That's exactly what apple doesn't want. Apple wants their developers to spend as much money as possible to be able to develop for their platform.
Also, if iOS could run .exe files, any village idiot (pardon the racism french, I'm one myself) would be able to flood the app store with trash. Just like that. The poor reviewers over there would probably quit their job.
