Okay i got this idea.

well not really. but i'll mention it anyways.
There plenty of types of games and people have all sorts of ideas from the past games or trying to find new ideas or hybrids of past games.
What if we start with something really small like an empty GED with one actor.
then someone else can add a variable into the actor/or global (naming it something that gives people an idea of what it might be).
then someone else can add a logic to an event such as a keydown or keyup or something else but it has to stay simple step.
and let it evolve overtime such that only as it evolves do we slowly see the game take shape which will be a combined product of everyone's little ideas.
instead of setting out as a rigid concept like a specific type.
This would be good for noobies to learn GE (me for example) and a good opportunity for the veterans to transfer their knowledge in little bites at a time.
Does this even sound fun to anyone? at all? it makes me itchy to think about it because i have no idea what this game might turn out to be. yet it might be amazing since it will have many people tweaking it every step along the way and also this time lets things settle and more ideas to spawn.
And since GE was designed for 2D, we should try to keep it 2D? Any thoughts? or has this even been tried before?
