I finally got a chance to play Enblast. Cool and fun game avoiding meteors/asteroids in space. I like the warp and the neat powerups too, along with the ability to change the appearance of your ship, which is a neat addition. Do the alterations affect the ship's speed or abilities yet? That would be something. Maybe different parts would result in different options, like all the robot parts giving you the ability to fire lasers at the meteors, but that is only a suggestion, as the game is fun as is.

The music by DST (spelling) was nicely done also. The text font was unique also and matched the theme of the game.
Great job and keep making new games!

Yeah, nicely done. The opening logos started the game off professionally and were impressive.

Wow! You are a man of your word Werty, about releasing it today. xD
I'll try it by downloading this time, instead of trying from the dev folder. I'm in school atm, so I'll try it when I get home.
It's great to finally see the game released!!! :D

Enblast 1.1 Review!

The good:

Nice graphics
Awesome powerups
More enemies
Slot machine
More rocket sets
Nice launcher
Over 1K downloads! Congrats!

The bad:

Bland background before you go into space. Add some clouds in the distance
Death menu a tad bit messy.

Features I would like:

Online highscore board (Although MrJolteon did say that will be in 1.1.1)
Shooting rocket sets
Random places to start off with. For example. You may launch from a desert or a jungle or a forest.

Overall rating

10/10

Nice job CeriaGames once again ;)

A review, finally :) Glad you enjoyed the game

Over 1K downloads! Congrats!

Actually 1K views, the game still stucks at 180 plays or something

Bland background before you go into space. Add some clouds in the distance

Ok but.... Hmm.... Example?

Death menu a tad bit messy.

I thought it was cleaner D:

Online highscore board (Although MrJolteon did say that will be in 1.1.1)

Let just hope.

Shooting rocket sets

I've said this several times, We have shield :P

Random places to start off with. For example. You may launch from a desert or a jungle or a forest.

Yup, this was supposed to be one of the features in 1.1 :(

10/10

Thanks :)

Yeah sorry thats what I meant :P Mines only 1009 views :(

Wertyboy wrote:Ok but.... Hmm.... Example?

You could put clouds or other rockets in the background
As you see here...

It is a bit bland

Wertyboy wrote:I thought it was cleaner D:

Well I guess thats just me. It may not be messy to anyone else

Wertyboy wrote:Let just hope.

It would be a cool feature but be careful. Some one said --- OFF in my highscore board :(

Wertyboy wrote:I've said this several times, We have shield :P]

Yes but the game needs more powerups. And shooting is the most popular demand. But I won't bully you into it as it's your game.

Wertyboy wrote:Yup, this was supposed to be one of the features in 1.1

Why can't you add it? Is it you don't know the code? You can always ask here

Anyways that's all from me for now.

Bye!

This really should be in the forum's showcase!

Review
Graphics:
Amazing, not only that, it's original! Well, maybe a tiny fraction of the graphics aren't original, almost none actually. The awesome interface, and even the epic obstacles are hand-made, really amazing artwork Werty! 10/10

Gameplay:
It was repititive, but now there's so many features, it'll take months to be bored of the game. Besides most adventure games in this forums (Winter blast or Winter Blast 2 for example), this also will take a long time to be bored with. Slots, lots of obstacles, tons of purchasables, and many more features make it absolutely playable. It does get a tiny bit too hard when you're far, but that's just how most running games work. Though yes, as knuckle said, some parts are a bit bland, it's only a tiny fraction. Adding more rockets in the background could be good, but that would make spoilers for other rockets, so maybe some other objects in the background could erase the emptiness in space or the sky part of the game. Even though there are bland parts, as the game gets harder, no one would care about the blandness of the game. What does all this deserve? Another 10/10!

Sounds:
Music is amazing, it fits as we travel in space, though it gets a teensy bit boring though, so maybe adding more music like a jukebox setting might work. The sound effects are amazing, so it should nullify how boring the music is, though I still request more music, but this is still good enough already so... 9/10!

Overall:
29/30
Another game that deserves to be in the showcase, and I don't think I'm exaggerating.
