hi I'm new to GameEditor and am using v1.4.0. I have the 1945 demo and have a couple of questions?

I would like to export the 1945 demo to a macintosh OS X
What do I need to do to get it to work on a Mac?

I'm using Windows Vista to Export it so my mother can play it on her mac.

Can someone please tell me in detail what I need to do or include?

Thank you

You do have to do stuff, I'm going to assume you want it to make an app, that way all you have to do is double click the file you send. You can't normally just export it unless the person knows how to use unix.

1. Export the game.
2. Create a directory with the same name as the exported game's name with the extension .app.
3. In the directory, make another one called Contents.
4. Create a directory inside that one named MacOS.
5. Put the exported game into the Contents directory.

Send the app file, and it should work. There have been some problems with exporting to mac, but from my tests it only happens if you are using mac for the export.

-Edit
You might look here. It explains one way to get icons working, but it has to be done on a mac. I haven't been looking into how to create icons since, though it involves create a plist. I'll probably be easier not to add an icon for now.

I don't know. As far as I've known, icons have never worked for Linux, at least any Linux I've ever used. It always shows the executable symbol.
