well, I doubt that there is a code for that!
it would somehow need a change-scale function on parts of the animations.
GE doesn't have a change scale code yet.

The only way I can think of is to use the draw from feature. But this way would be a lot of work and make the game run pretty slow probably.

What about the "shadow" code? Or is it the same draw_from that Tutif mentioned?

well, I thought that j2graves ment something about making the actors look blurr on some parts, you know, like in water.
you know like, some parts become bigger and some smaller.
you know wave-shaped mirrors?
something like that.

yeah, I could make some wave animations, but they wouldn't influence the apperance of the actors...

This is impossible with the current versions of Game Editor. :(
