I hate that in the demo version, because wen I want to show some work to others, I cant because of that thing, and it would also give others the posibelety to create demos(On your site) for helping others.Not shure if anyone whits me.

$ 100 for a 12 month licence is extremely reasonable. I would be suprised if M is making ANY profit at all!

Organise the money. (OK - I know this can be tricky. You may need to be creative. Mug an old lady or something. )

Purchase the latest version.

Write a kick-arse game and share with friend and fellow programmers.

You deserve to have it all!

It looks like new GE versions are created just to contain more limitations in demo. I wouldn't be surprise if in the near future there was no demoversion at all!

well there quind of a problem I dont got a job and my parents relly dont have the money.

I only going to buy it this crismas.

Your parents say they don't have the money? All parents start an argument that way. They are lying. I am a parent so I know.

Explain to them that GE is educational.

Show them the pricing structure. Involve them.

Get the 6 month plan as a trial. If you write a few good games in 6 months they will be more likely to re-register you.

Sorry but that is not a solution, because we relly dont have the money.

Well, let's run throught the list, shall we:

- Do you go to school? If so, is an after school job at all possible?
In the United States, a modest newspaper route brings in $100 - $200 per month on average. Also, doing odd jobs for neighbors is a possibility. Work at a fast-food restaurant for a month might pay the bill. Many options here.

- Do you have relatives, like grandparents who can afford such a gift if you asked them and did a presentation like Jazz described?

- Run a non-profit fund drive for yourself. See what the school will allow, perhaps a bake sale or something?

- Perhaps acquiring an educational grant of money from the state or country.

- Offer a sponsership arrangement to friends, family, fellow students, etc. = they pay you a small amount of money per person and you create games which they can play. Or even better yet, make a simple but fun game right now for pocket PC's and sell it on sites such as Handango or other Pocket PC software sites. This option, you would be exporting the game from GE as an .exe

Hmm, with my luck, that would probably be me! Hopefully, you will decide against this suggestion...

I'm not sure about Game_a_Gogo's age, but I would guess something about 15 (I'm sorry if I'm wrong). I don't know how's it in USA, but in some countries it is quite difficult to get a job, especially at age below 18. If you've got a job, they usually pay worse than you deserve. Of course, you can work for less than a minimal wage and you'll still earn enough money to buy a licence... but would you?
And don't forget that young people that don't have any daily job usually don't have a bank account, so there's a problem with payment.
