But you'd still need a real OS to run the exe.. After all a thing like my lclOS is just a program that seems like OS and can do a little part of the things real OS's can :D

As far as I was concerned, I thought we were going to use LINUX as the operating system but modify it so that when it boots up, it would load an executable that would act as our "Gui Os." You know what I mean? :)

No need to do that. If we use "Enlightenment" like you seen in my screenshots, (which is linux), you can have a fully featured Linux Desktop on the thing. And touch screen, AND you can browse the internet with it as well as play games.

you'd need to write some scripts though to make everything function the way it needs.

um i dont think it will have a touch screen it wil have buttons?

The next time i post on this subject will be the day i build the handheld... but occasionaly i will post on this subject whether i started to build it or not :o
