I need to know how you post up screenshots. Does anyone know?

you press Alt + PrtSc that will take a screenshot, then save the pic and then upload it to the forums using the attachment thingy.

lol, when did they change that? By the way, what I usually do is press cntrl + prntscrn and then open paint and hit control-v to paste it.

Alt+PrnScr is for copying hte image shown by the selected Window, Print Screen alone whit take the whole screen.

print screen doesnt work on my new computer for some reason.
good thing gimp has it build in.

It doesn't work in Linux.
I knew this, I'm just letting people know.
Fuzzy:Doesn't work with the GIMP very well, because it is a Linux app (why do you think you had to install GTK??)When you take it, make sure the GIMP is not running.(Restart your comp. to delete all temp files. MUST DO!)
Press ctrl + v in PAINT. must be Paint.
save it as PNG.
Open in the GIMP
There ya go! that should work! it does for me...Anyway, make sure it is a USB one, usb works best...
BTW thanx to Makslane for getting me to use PNG.
It saved me 4.67 GB (not lying!!) of space!
Hmm...Added Makslane to dictionary, spell check keeps beeping at me...

Program "Gadwin print screen" is to the print sreens , i use it .

kyensoftware, thanks. I never would have known that. It baffled me because I could verify that the key was functional. +1 score for you! It was that frustrating!
