How do you make a time effect?(you have to wait for a certain amount of time so that something happens?)

Perhaps you should read through the help files that come with Game Editor before posting 4 random questions that could be solved by reading the documentation, and in the wrong forum?

this is not into the wrong forum, the game development forum, from as far as i know, is for asking help/question about/on making games.
The support forum is for telling makslane bugs/glitch and question towards Game-Editor/GE Forum

regardless of where the question was posted, the answer is quite simple. You need to use a Timer :D

The following posts refer to use of a timer;
http://game-editor.com/forum/viewtopic. ... ight=timer
http://game-editor.com/forum/viewtopic. ... ight=timer
http://game-editor.com/forum/viewtopic. ... ight=timer
http://game-editor.com/forum/viewtopic. ... ight=timer

And you can of course, also have a look in the help files under Event and Actions >> Timers

You can attach any type of action to a timer so regardless of what you want to do you should be able to

Periodic means that it counts the same time always. Random is that it chooses a random time from the min -> max and changes it always.
I hope this helped little.
